Xavier MacDonald has been developing new Canadian theatre since 1986 with some of Canada's greatest creators including, Don Kugler, Tom Hendry, Colin Taylor and Sue Miner. He received his diploma in Acting from The National Theatre School of Canada in Montreal where he developed the role of Unicorn in the workshop and first public performance, of Timothy Findlay’s play Not Wanted On The Voyage, directed by Richard Rose. He workshopped and toured Alberta with Under Broken Wings written by Brian Marler. He has also developed and performed Mr. Beentree in Rex Deverell's Dora Mavor Moore Award winning play, Belonging, which toured Ontario. Most recently Xavier workshopped and performed the role of Kevin in Dean Eyre's play, Blooms at Nakai Theatre in Whitehorse, directed by Michael Clark which toured the Yukon in 2003. Xavier loves to travel and hopes Jack will enjoy to just as much.
