Artistic Director Phil is a graduate of the Performing Arts program at George Brown College. He has been seen previously in such roles as Krogstaad in A Doll's House with Tribal Productions; The Player in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead with Simple Truth Theatre; After a 5 year hiatus, Phil returned to acting as Touchstone in As You Like It, followed by Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream, both with In the Moment Productions. Phil is quite happy to have returned to Acting in time to continue his relationship with Simple Truth Theatre. |

Production Stage Manager Jennifer recently graduated from the University of Waterloo with a B.A. (Hons.) in Psychology and has turned her attention back to theatre. Previous stage management credits include: Canada Jacks (Simple Truth Theatre) , The Burglary (asm) (Gamut Productions), Trapped in Taffeta (Simple Truth Theatre), Rock. Paper. Sistahz 4 (b Current Productions), The Rocky Horror Show (Toronto Youth Theatre), Cut the Rug (Only Human Dance Collective), A Midsummer Night's Dream and As You Like It (In the Moment Productions), Edmund Ironside and A Midsummer Night's Dream (a co-production of Firebrand Theatre and Simple Truth Theatre), and Hamlet and Macbeth (Tempest Theatre). |

General Manager Kimberly spends her days planning parties, tours and social gatherings and her evenings and weekends working with her husband Richard to produce theatre. She has been a Production Manager for Firebrand Theatre, Secretary & Past President for Theatresports Toronto and Production Manager, General Manager, Set Designer and Producer for Simple Truth Theatre. |

Development Director
For over 20 years, Richard Beaune has been performing and directing all kinds of theatre in venues ranging from shopping malls and parks to The Stratford and Shaw Festivals. Some highlights include directing Macbeth and The Comedy of Errors for Shakespeare in the Square and directing A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Edmund Ironside for Firebrand Theatre. He also directed a Jenny Award winning production of Flowers For Algernon and the Canadian Comedy Award winning Trapped in Taffeta . He also spent two seasons as an Assistant Director with The Stratford Festival and one season as an Intern Director with The Shaw Festival. As an actor, some favorite roles have included Angelo in Measure For Measure, Prospero in The Tempest, LeBeau in As You Like It (Stratford Festival), and Jack in Canada Jacks (a one-man show). He was the founding Artistic Director of Simple Truth Theatre and he is a faculty member at Ryerson University’s Act II Studio . Ultimately, his goal in life is to make you smile
